Pyrenees-Orientales has a great variety of landscape from the Mediterranean coastal plain in the east to the high mountains of the Pyrenees to the west and south, forming the border with Spain. Our visitors can choose from simple country strolls, longer walks, serious treks and mountain climbing. A combination of an extensive network of tracks maintained for forestry, agriculture or fire prevention, and well documented paths make the foothills and mountains a wonderland for the walker - or more adventurous driver.
Here's a selection of some of the sights we've enjoyed on our rambles!
